Lissa Woodson is a dedicated literary agent who secured her first book deal with Simon & Schuster in 2006, then went on to land deals for her other agent clients with MacMillan, Harlequin. She now pays it forward by helping authors submit a query to connect them with their next traditional publishing home. She completed a two-year mentorship with The Seymour Agency before rebranding and relaunching her own agency. She is a member of The Authors Guild, board member of the Independent Writers of Chicago, National Writers Union, Association of Writers & Writing Programs, board member of Bay Area Women in Publishing, and Chicago-North Romance Writers.
